Shane graduated from Limerick Institute of Technology with a BA (Hons) Degree in Accounting and Finance.

He joined Collins O'Brien Maher in 2021 as a trainee accountant and is involved in the preparation of Accounts, Income Tax Returns, VAT and PAYE/PRSI for a large portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships and Limited Companies.

In his spare time he enjoys playing hurling with his local GAA club Murroe/Boher.
