Collins O’Brien has recently appointed two new Directors.
Diarmuid Gowen
Diarmuid Gowen joined Collins O’Brien in 1988. He qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in 2002 and became a fellow of the Institute in December 2014. In 2014/15, he completed Diplomas in Insolvency & Corporate Restructuring and in Forensic Accounting - both diplomas being awarded by the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI). Diarmuid was appointed Office Manager in 2001. He has been strategically involved in some of the firm’s major business transitions in relation to practice purchases etc. Diarmuid manages a large portfolio of clients involved across all business sectors.
Michael Keating
Michael Keating joined Collins O’Brien in 2005. He has a Bachelor of Business Degree in Accounting and qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in 2008. He currently holds Auditing and Practicing Certificate and is an integral part of Collins O’Brien’s auditing team. In 2016, Michael qualified as a Certified Tax Adviser through C.P.A. Ireland. Michael manages a large and diverse client portfolio and is involved in all strategic decisions for the expansion and development of the company.
The new Directors will provide continued expert advice to the firm’s already established client base, as well as supporting the future growth and development of the business.
