Donal established the accountancy firm in his native Nenagh in 1989 having spent his previous career in AIB throughout various branches across the country. It was his ambition to create a company based on reputation, customer loyalty and service and from small beginnings, the company grew over the years and now employs 10 permanent staff.

Donal has a vast amount of experience in all aspects of Taxation including Capital Gains Tax, Capital Acquisitions Tax, Income Tax, VAT, PAYE and RCT. He has developed the practice and provides service to a wide variety of clients involved in all industries including retailers, companies, farmers and service companies.

In 2018, Donal joined Collins O’Brien of Fermoy and are now trading under the name of Collins O’Brien Maher. His emphasis continues to provide a quality, personal and timely service to his clients and to continue to grow the business into the future.
